Popping sound thru speakers when starting up bike
Hello all!...I've had issues in the past and have come here for solutions with my system. Still running Infinity Kappa 6x9 in Fairing with SonyMEX-M70BT head unit, and SSPN4-1000 amp. I've replaced the amp in the past, and also have had issues with Stereo cutting out when it's a hot day out and I'm pushing for more sound.
What I didn't mention is that I've stalled the bike on takeoff before and when I go to start it with stereo at high volume I get popping thru the speakers. Is this normal? Should I hear popping at all?
Please help with any input, I"m challenged with Audio electronics!!....Thank you

I'm running same Sony and did have same amp. I thought my start up POP was going to blow my speakers! So yes, it's common.
Make sure you're amp is grounded to battery. Are you using HU for remote turn on wire to amp? If so, you may need to add a little delay switch for amp turn on.
I was able to fix mine with a DSP that has a delay turn on setting.
