Default Installing 6x9s Nastyhogs lids

So I am trying to put 6x9s in these lids. The first pair I bought are pioneers 6900 pros. These are too tall to be mounted on top or under the lid. I bought some Kickers and they are also too tall.
Are you guys mounting the speaker under the lid or am I doing something wrong? Pics would be great, so I can see how you mounted your speakers.

I'm not sure I've seen anyone on this forum use the nastyhog lids. Maybe if you posted some pics we could make some suggestions.

Not familiar with those lids but they mount from the underside. Whereabouts in Minny are you at?

To me they look just like HawgTunes lids. Notice the drainage channels and the screw holes for the grills.

They are from a company called Nasty Hog. At least that’s where I ordered them from. They are supposed to be their products.
