Default Lower Speaker Issues - Please Help!

I installed lower speakers on my 2017 street glide using all HD parts, except their speakers. I used Hertz 6.5 SPL's. I even bought the Well Nuts that are listed in the Harley Boom kit. The Well nuts are the problem.
I keep having the speakers pull thru the lower mounting flange and almost lost a speaker during a ride!!

The Well Nuts are rubber flange nuts that push in from the front and as you tighten the screws, it swells up similar to a boat plug to hold the speakers in. The problem is they don't swell up enough to keep them from pulling thru the mounting holes in the lowers.

What are others using for this or any ideas for the Well Nuts is what I'm looking for. With all the vibration I'm afraid to use speed clips like you use in a car.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Like 8track said....glue.
I think those are the same mounting nuts used in the tour pack pod speakers on my limited.
I had the same problem with the Kappas I installed pulling the nuts out. Problem was the nuts start to turn in their hole before they tighten all the way.
I fixed this problem by putting a couple dabs of super glue gel on the back side of the nut where it meets against the surface of the pod.
Did this to each one.

I installed the rubber flanged nuts on the inside of the speaker pod. Put a little tape on to hold them in place. Speakers aren't going anywhere.

speed clips will work just fine, just make sure that you use the machine screw style and not the sheet metal style. a drop a blue loctitie and you're good.

What JHC or M said simply because you are not going to leave those speakers in there forever. Mine have been in my lowers for at least 3 years held in with the screws and no problems at all.

The glue is for the grommets. You can still remove screws to change out speakers.

Thanks for all the great ideas. I never even thought about gluing the nuts in. This site is invaluable to audio novices like me!!
Thanks Again to everyone!
