Default Tuning question

2019 RGS factory HU added bt355LL, stinger amp and WDX6MOTO-G2. Loud as hell and not complaining but is there a way to tune some of the highs out? Some of the time they're ear piercing!

Without a DSP the only way to lower the upper frequencies is to turn the treble down via the headunit.

Treble already lowest setting on hu. Don't want to add a dsp so would a different flash help?

Maybe a little, but those speakers are just that bright from box.

Other option is different speakers, like the Mmat PA601cx, if you don't want to go DSP route.

Don't want to add a dsp
None of us wanted a DSP at first, but most of us found that it was the only way to get the sound we wanted. The environment of wind and exhaust noise is unlike anything most of these speakers were tuned to operate in at the factory. Being able to drop the mids and boost the lows with a DSP will in most cases do more for getting the sound you want than swapping speakers around will.

I have the original WDX6 Motos which folks have said are even brighter than the G2 and I have gotten them sounding very smooth and warm with the EQ curve I have programmed into my DSP. Also if you get bit by the bug in the near future you will probably think about getting speakers in the lowers. PA speakers work very well there but usually require a bandpass setting which is drop dead easy to do with a DSP.
