So I was wondering why I haven't seen much posted about the smaller aa2521-a mm521 5.25 speaker? drop the adapther ring cost and 10 dollars cheaper than 6.5 for a cost savings. do they sound good. ?
so what do all think of them?

Oh hello all new old man on the block

The old saying "You get what you pay for" applies here. There is a big sound quality difference from 5.25" speaker to a 6.75" speaker.
You really aren't saving anything if you are not happy with the end result.

To be more specific? I personally have not seen of heard the mm521. But hearing the comparison of other 5.25" vs 6.5" speakers, I am sure they probably don't sound much better than the OEM speakers.

Go with the 6.5" or 6.75" speaker, you will be much happier and have better mids and more sound.

you only need adapter rings (2) for the fairing and they come as a set.

There are many providers (ARC, Scosche, BT, Cycle Sounds) but since Dragonfly Cycle Concepts (cycle sounds sells DF adapter rings) is a sponsor here, would be good to patronize them.. and they give you a discount as well.
