You are the only one who can tell if you would like one more than the other. I will say that the Polks have better specs than the CVX speakers, and cost much less than most JLs. Are you unhappy with the Polks, or just curious?

Just curious.
Grass always looks greener on the other side
I went speaker shopping yesterday, and .......................the FOCAL 165krx2 sound amazing, but @ $ 1195 a pair, I don't think so. The FOCAL 165kr sounded pretty good too, $ 699 ....
After listening to those,..........the vr & cvx didn't sound so good.
Going to a Hybrid dealer, maybe next weekend, to listen to the what they have.
I don't think you're comparing apples/apples between the cvx and mm lines. The cvx would be a lower line Focal, similar to the db series for Polk. To get better sound from Focal, you need to look at the beginning of the polyglass models. They sound really nice. I do have Focal's but if I were you, I'd stay with your MM's. Going down the road, those speakers are really efficient and sound very nice. JMO...
Going down the road,.............I doubt that there would be a big difference. The Polk MM651 , with it's 94db sensitivity @ 1 watt,...........and running at 2.7 ohms, make that a pretty strong sounding speaker !!
If you went to the FOCAL kr line, probably not much difference, the krx2 line though, ...is another story,.............albeit not worth $800 more !

Decisions, decisions, decisions........
Biketronics Tittan II is a HAT speaker. I just got a pair of the 6.5 and the new 7.1 from them.
