Upgrade speakers for 2013 SG.
And is there something different about the BT speakers that this is not a problem with them?? Or any other recommendations?? I seem to see everyone is very happy with the Pioneers from a performance/cost standpoint, but wondering what other options are out there to deal with the water better?? thanks

get a set of , a small diameter line similar to weed eater fuel line, drill a hole in the bottom of the baffle, insert and glue the line and run to bottom of bag. maybe pop a small hole for draining out the bottom of the bag.

I guess i still don't understand why the BT speakers don't leak as well?? and will i damage/wreck either the pioneers or BTs if they become saturated?? Looks like either way i should try and get some type of lid cover if/when i get stuck somewhere in a downpour!! thanks
The Pioneer speakers have wires and a sport stalk coming through the woofer for the tweeter which will allow the water to drain into the bag.
And if something does happen to the BT speakers, they are covered under a lifetime warranty.
I've yet to read a single review on the HT speakers that were made specifically for the HT bag lids. They have the bridge mounted tweeter, are therefor sealed, and are guaranteed not to leak. http://www.directcycleparts.com/audi...rs-p-9569.html

BT speakers have the tweeter mounted in a bridge across the top of the speaker vs a stalk like most 6x9s
