Default Fuel pressure?

I'm the process of setting up a TP 107" with an Aerocharger turbo. It has a Screamin Eagle 44mm CV carb on it. I'm using a return style fuel pressure regulator with boost reference. What should the fuel pressure to carb be set at? 4lbs?

With boost reference? Like a 1:1 regulator? I don't how that will work with a carb. 4-5 psi is really all that is needed. Getting up around 10 or so will push needle off seat.

Yes, a 1:1 regulator.

Don't see a reason to run a 1:1 reg on a carb bike. Injector flow and latency times are dependent of fuel pressure. Basically, more pressure equals more flow. The amount of fuel a carb delivers is based on the signal in the throat of the carb. Fuel delivery pressure should not affect how much fuel the carb puts in the cylinder.

Carbureted Aerocharger bikes used a 1:1 regulator.. They used a Walbro 532 high pressure fuel pump that fed a return style 1:1 regulator.

The boost referenced regulator is only used for bowl fill here and not fuel pressure. With a blow through setup the carb bowl is pressurized. Set the regulator at 3psi and it will stay 3psi above the boost pressure. If we didn't have the pump and regulator the carb bowl wouldn't fill because the boost pressure coming in from the turbo is to great and would blow the fuel back into the fuel tank. The bike engine doesn't burn the extra fuel created by the pressure it returns the extra fuel back to the tank via a return line from the regulator to the fuel tank. We're just using the pressure
