I plan on mounting my intercooler to the frame of my bike. Should it be solid mounted or should I use rubber isolators?

 

I would suppose this depends on if the charge pipe from the turbo is suspended, or just comes out of the turbo - and if the engine which the turbo is mounted to, is isolated or solid mounted. My Softail has engine mounts, the intercooler is mounted to the throttle body where the air cleaner would normally go, and the charge pipe goes to the turbo, so it all shakes together.
