Default Removing Carb - Throttle Cable Issue

I am removing the carb off of my 91 1200 and I am stuck on one last part - removing the throttle cables. I loosened them by twisting the adjuster cables near the handle bars, but I still cannot figure out how to get the cables out from the actual throttle on the carb.

Does anyone have any tips?

First, did you remove the tank? If not, removing the tank makes the job a whole lot easier. With the top adjuster completely loose, you should be able to pop the cable end out from the holder/guide at the bottom (pull up and out). This gives you enough slack to bring the cable to the wire end and push it out the side.
