Well, I don't have a 250 but a 240 instead. Mine handles great, with no problems whatsoever!
I also had the frame raked 3 degrees as well, and with the combo of frame, and wide tire, it handles just fine!

I've got a hardtail with a 300 tire. With 28-30psi the bike handle fairly decent but the ride is harsh. With 18-20psi it steers like a truck (you really have to push the bars) but the ride isn't to bad. I adjust depending what of ride Im doing and where Im going.

wow that is a nice ride copper, you build it yourself? I have a shop hear locally, that I think when I run into issues with ym build, I can go to for answers, they seem SUPER nice and answered a ton of questions i already had. And when they found out I was looking to build my own instead of buy one of theirs, they didn't stear me away.

Yes Bobbsterkid7, I built it myself. When you do yours make sure you mock up EVERYTHING before you paint or powder coat.

It will ride great going straight but it will be hard to lean (not turn) over. It will turn fine if the bike is not raked out past any of Harley's standard frames, in fact you probably won't notice much difference. It will just take a little more push to lean it over in the turns at higher speeds. This is because the wider rear tire gets more off center as you lean. I've been riding a 280 rear tire on a custom chopper for a year now and it turns fine, just have to push harder to get'er leaned over on those switch backs.

Don't read me wrong bros.those huge rear tires belong on a Harley. If I were into a bar hopper, you can bet it would be sporting fat rubber out back.not to mention something between my legs that would have no problem making it smoke unmercifly. Now it is all about getting there first, and corner carving is in the mix.
