I think I like what you've done. Can't wait for some pics of it out in the sunlight. I believe you have hit on a very cool idea for a finish.
Thanks for the pics so far.
Had a chance to take a couple of more pictures in the light of day on Saturday. I've decided to wrap the exhaust with black exhaust wrap. Also replaced the seat springs with a set of 4 inch barrel springs... The pictures from the rear make the sissy bar look a little crooked, but it's an optical illusion....
Sweet pics! Looks like a bike from the "Mad Max" movie....if you don't mind me asking, what was a ballpark cost to get get them done?
Thanks!
If you're talking about thetins beingLinex'd....I had a friend who had a friend...so all I paid for was the materials.
The guy charged mea buck a click, in otherwords the Linex tank clicks each time it sprays ameasured amount of Linex. It took200 clicks to do all of my tins, I had them all prepped and ready to go, so all he had to do was tack them off and spray.
I'm not sure what his normal hourly rate was so far as labor.
The only other thing I changed this time around was the rear fender, I bought a blank stock fender and cut and welded it myself. So it was relatively cheap to change from the old flatfender to the new rounded fender.
