Default Need rear brake light ideas...

I accidently made my original post in off topic (guess I spend too much time there) but need some ideas for a brake light.
As you can see, I screwed up and chose the wrong fender for my fat tire kit. To cure it, I'm going to cut the ends off and reweld them closer. I figured since I'm going to have to paint the fender over, I may as well cut into the back and mold in a LED taillamp.

Anyone have any suggestions? I saw a fender with one built into it and I don'tknow where I saw it.I need any suggestions for brake lights regardless if they are LED's or not.

Thanks,

Mark

Jim Nassi did this one and has done some cool tail lights. He is expensive though.

Don't rule out something you might see on a street rod or old car. If it were to be molded in, that might open up your options.

Thanks guys for the opinion and links. I'll also be sure to keep a lookout for street rod ideas. Sometimes you get tunnel vision and don't think about other things.

That is a very nice lookin change you are doin crush.

That taillite obviously gonna have to be a custom piece unless
you wanna hang it off the side.
That of course would look like shiitt.

The customdynamics link posted by tex looks promising.

Keep up the good work.

Mud,

Thanks. I have spent HOURS looking at different ideas and it seems the easiest, best in safety will be little bullet LED lights.

As much as I want to integrate something into the fender, I can't seem to find something that trips my trigger. I like the flush mount but then I have to worry about the tire rubbing up against it. I like the LED bands but I ride constantly in traffic and as cool as those strips look, I don't want to take the chance of not being being seen.

I'm still looking but it seems the bullets are the way to go.

Here is what I'm doing....

Frenching in a Radiantz LED oval assembly, with chrome trim on outside.
I'll also be running LED bright bullets as running/turn/brake.
