On that subject Sturgis 1990 a few of us took a wandering route from Ca. Stopped for gas at some small place about 30 miles away. Arlen Ness had a big bus RV and a dually hauling a horse trailer 10 bikes for his pretty boy tag along posse. So here we are 5 days and about 2300 miles out and his crew were unloading the bikes and strapping gear & bedrolls on like they have been traveling.

I kid you not a couple of the hang arounds were running a rag around in the dirt then slapping their pants legs to get them dusty like they had been riding. We were in tears laughing at them.
Later that day run into the idiots outside the old Gunner lounge where they had roped off private parking spots. I got escorted out of Gunners for clowning them in front of everybody.

I kinda thought that years ago when all ya heard was hamsters. this hamsters that.
I figured more show than go.
I would try some oven cleaner , ease it on and let it sit then scrape with a plastic knife then rinse.

Ok, In the dollar stores they sell a degreaser called Amazing, pretty strong stuff combined with elbow grease. Sounds like this scoot is really dirty.

I'd try Never-Dull. Its a wadd of cotton in a can that is saturated with a cleaner. Been using for years on everything chrome, stainless, or aluminum. Cuts through grime pretty good.
