Yep got it done. Wasn't as bad as I thought doing it by hand using laces and rag strips. Looking good.

I know a lot of guys may seriously have a heart attack when I post this........but. I live on the east coast, actually less than a mile from the Atlantic Ocean, no matter what precautions I take, products I apply, there's always a lil spot of rust that pops up now and then. Unfortunately condo living, I don't have a garage, so she sits outside under a Cycle Shell. (There's a reason they went out of business, less than a couple years and it's ****) I use these one the wheels and other areas, very lite rubbing easily removes surface rust with no scratching or marring the surface.

Wire sponge is essentially bronze wool and works awesome! Been using it for years.

I grabbed a couple these from work when they were cleaning up, works great. But I'm going to try that "bronze wool"

I wonder if copper wool is softer/better? I will use a penny to remove tar off chrome, does not scratch.
