Let me preface this thread with, "I am neither afilliated or associated wth any of the companies that make, distribute or sell any of these products mentioned"

After reading a few Threads about what to use on the Bike to shine it up between the times when I do a full wash, dry and wax, I tried Lemon Pledge tonight. What a easy shine! I gotta tell you, it does a fantasitc job! For years I have been using Windex. Many old timers said it would haze the paint, yadda, yadda, yadda... But it has worked well and I have never seen any ill effects.

But Lemon Pledge is Da Bomb! It shines chrome, de-bugs, and all my plastic parts such as Saddle Bags, Fairings and "Plexiglass" look great! It cleaned and made them look like glass again. It took all of the micro scratches and swirrles out. I could not be more pleased. And what a pleasent smell.

FYI, for the times when I really wash it down I am a Huge Fan of Bike Bright. I got a spray bottle as a door prize a few years ago on a Poker Run and decided to try it. Just spray it on, hose it off, dry it down with a Microfiber Cloth then Spray Wax it with McGuire's Detailer and it looks almost brand new.
Bike Bright de-greases, cleanes off dust, dirt, bugs and break dust without scrubbing. If you haven't, you might want to try it.

It is great for use on windshields.
I was very surprised.
I had tons of bugs covering my windshield...
put a warm damp towel over it for about 15 minutes.
Lemon pledge and a microfiber cloth.....
looks like brand new.
I will be using it from now on.

I started using it last year and the only downside is it seems to attract bees, must be the scent. I only noticed it when the bike was parked.

I also use it, works great! I go over it a second time with a clean dry towel to get any streaks or smudges out I might have missed.

Better late then never, I guess. I've been using it on my bikes for over 3 decades. I thought nearly everyone knew this.

My wife was laughing at me when she saw me using Pledge on my car. A few weeks later we were walking up to it in the grocery parking lot. She said "Your car looks great. What did you say you use on it"?
