Yup, stopping at the store on the way home for some Pledge. LOTS of dust where I park my motorscooter, so hopefully this Pledge will help repel some of the dust!
Hokay, so...stopped on the way home and got Pledge (unscented, some sort of "plus" version) and some microfiber rags/towels. Hit the bike with a quick powerwash at the quarter-wash place and realized I have no towels. So, I tried one of the microfiber towels and was able to dry the entire bike (Road King + detachable fairing) with just one of them. Holy Monkeyballs! I'm definitely keeping a couple of those in the bags at all times!
The pledge also worked great to really shine up the paint and chrome...now it's parked in the dustbowl that is my carport. We'll see how well the Pledge keeps the dust off tomorrow!
I'm SOLD! After coming home from Laughlin, had quite a few bugs on my fairing. Sprayed everything down with Lemon Pledge, let soak for about 2 minutes, and wiped clean with a microfiber cloth.
Lemon Pledge is now in my cleaning supplies, and will go along on my next road trip as well.
