Let me preface this thread with, "I am neither afilliated or associated wth any of the companies that make, distribute or sell any of these products mentioned"
After reading a few Threads about what to use on the Bike to shine it up between the times when I do a full wash, dry and wax, I tried Lemon Pledge tonight. What a easy shine! I gotta tell you, it does a fantasitc job! For years I have been using Windex. Many old timers said it would haze the paint, yadda, yadda, yadda... But it has worked well and I have never seen any ill effects.
But Lemon Pledge is Da Bomb! It shines chrome, de-bugs, and all my plastic parts such as Saddle Bags, Fairings and "Plexiglass" look great! It cleaned and made them look like glass again. It took all of the micro scratches and swirrles out. I could not be more pleased. And what a pleasent smell.
FYI, for the times when I really wash it down I am a Huge Fan of Bike Bright. I got a spray bottle as a door prize a few years ago on a Poker Run and decided to try it. Just spray it on, hose it off, dry it down with a Microfiber Cloth then Spray Wax it with McGuire's Detailer and it looks almost brand new.
Bike Bright de-greases, cleanes off dust, dirt, bugs and break dust without scrubbing. If you haven't, you might want to try it.

Looked on the internet and only found one place that has Bike Bright (buellparts.net). Is this stuff only available over the internet?
Ok Pledge users. My bike is black and I use a super soft cotton towelm but the Pledge leaves streaks which require a ton of buffing. What am I doing wrong?
Do you let it dry before wiping or not?
After the buffing however it looks good. Just a lot of work.
After checking the Service Manual I like the way it works between good wax jobs but still concerned the service manual doesn't have the proper spray nozzle distance or the torque pounds for pressing the spray button.

As you can see below...my ride is also black. I use a microfiber towel to apply and usually let it dry a minute or two. Then a clean microfiber towel to buff it off. Shouldn't take a ton of buffing at all. Might want to try a microfiber towel and see if that makes a difference...they are cheap and you can get at any auto supply store.

I've been using Lemon Pledge for years and I agree with your review.......except for micro-scratches and swirls. Only way to eliminate scratches in the clear is to use a very mildy abrasive compound, which Pledge is not.
Yup, stopping at the store on the way home for some Pledge. LOTS of dust where I park my motorscooter, so hopefully this Pledge will help repel some of the dust!
Just wondering how many washes does it hold up to since it wasn't designed for that kind of treatment. How often do you have re-wax? I can't imagine it lasting as long as an automotive/bike wax.
I'm not that keen on spray waxes, like paste myself.
