Default Wax

What brand/model of wax do you use and how often do you use it?

Just curious,

Ryan

Ryan, I like meguiars products, in fact I just tried on someone elses advice meguiars nxt generation tech wax. I love it, no residue and easy to put on and remove, gives a really nice shine. A guy that restores old cars told me about it and he said it was the best he has ever used, I agree.

I like to do a full wax (paint and chrome) each time I do a complete hose/soap wash. In between full washes I use a damp rag to remove the dust or a static duster, and I use meguiars quickwax mist to help clean and keep protection on.

Zaino is the best...I have three weekend cars, the bike and two daily drivers. Zaino is well tested.

It is easier to put on and take off than Meguir's NXT. You can apply in direct sunlight or 40 degree weather. You can put it on today and wipe it off tomorrow with no problem.

It is just great stuff.

I too use zanio. Try it once and you will never use anything else.

Not doubting your word. I went to the zanio website. It appears there is about a three step process to wax your vehicle with their products.

What I would like to know about this is, which of their products are you using ( zanio 1,2,3,4,5, pre wax cleaner or other?) and the process of each step using these products you use to get the ultimate easy shine you describe.

Thanks John TN

I wax about twice a year, unless I spill some gas. Then I'll touch the tank a bit. Got an old can of some carnauba beetle wax. Don't know what the name is, 'cause the can is all rusty from where a cat peed on it a couple years ago.
