well I ran into a problem that will delay the install of my bars. I did as instructed by cruisercustoming. i took everything out and inspected it. the Alloy Art risers had the chrome flaking off on the inside of the risers and the bars had some rust on the knurling. Something I feel i could live with since you wouldnt be able to see it anyway. Then i placed them together on the carpet to make sure they would go together. I put gently put the risers on the bar with my hands. and i held the bar over the bushing holes where the risers would connect to find that the riser are so round that they would not work. if my bars were 1in rather than 1 1/4 w/1in clamping area they would work. but sadly they wont, they are just way to round. sucks to cause i liked them. so I know get the opprotunity to test the return policy. i am hoping i dont run into any exchange issues. I wiped the risers down with a microcloth to remove any finger print and placed them back in there bubblewrap & box. think ill look into RSD or Joker Machine risers. something thin rather than round. Sent an e-mail to cruisercustomizing this morning. hope to hear from them tomorrow.

So i go to cruisercustomizing and see that there are two risers. 1 for 1" bars & 1 for 1 1/4" bars with 1" clamping area. So they must have shipped the wrong one. shouldn't be to difficult to do a swap out. i did do the order through their live chat and confirmed that everything i was ordering was compatible. i do not foresee any problems as the person i made the order with ,Robin, was awesome. wish me luck.

Been a couple of weeks but she is done. Had the wrong risers & then a bad clutch cable. I think it looks pretty bad *** & I did 98% of the work myself. The other 2% was having my buddies help me get the wires threw the bar. 2" riser from alloy art, 14" strip/ape from todds cycle, 2" tank lift from dead creek, & joker grips & mirrors.

Anymore pics? I've been looking at getting these bars. These are the new 14's that are 1" diameter?

14in bars. 1.25" thick. They step down to 1 " in the clamping area

I love em. I think the JM grips are also the ****. My clutch side grip isn't long enough for some odd reason. But JM is trying take care of that. So far they're pretty stand up guys.

I'm going to put the bags back on tomorrow. I'll upload another photo of that as well.
