So this is my build on my 2011 Super Glide Custom. It started out as a 96 to a 103 from the dealer and I added some stuff like a VH short short shot exhaust, slammed suspension, Carlini bars, PM wheels magnum shielding cable etc etc.. Then went to a 107 with top rebuild, bassani road rage 1 exhaust with floor boards, to a raked out front end, 21 front inch wheel, ractech rear shock and gold emulators with high rate springs as well as other things. Then did more stuff as well as powder coating all motor covers, JD fairing, paint, hardcare performace risers, etc etc and in January 2021 went full force nut. In 2020 and my July 2021 most stuff was changed to the following. The only thing stock on the bike is the frame , tranny case ,and tins. In this pic I am still showing the old rear brake caliper , brake rotors and rear brake arm holder. Those were switched this week. Now I will probably change the swing arm. Good Sunday morning everyone.. I did a Sunday morning cleaning and rolled bike into sun for a couple pics. I recently finished my Stg 2 with correct exhaust ( Basani 2-1 ) , fixed inner gearshaft seal leak and removed the midcontrol shaft because no need to be there.. No more nipple covering shaft end poking out inspection cover.

 

I wish my cover came with a mid inspection plate......

 

Rubbed my exhaust leaning through a curve. I didn't think I could get these on the ground.

Anyone here ride a Wide Glide with apes?

Thinking of upgrading from the standard bars to some mini apes though wondering how the handling will differ?

Have the hang of the handling with the standard bars after a few months in the saddle and really like the look of apes on the chopper style.

Any suggestions to height vs handling and how it changes cornering from standard bars?
