Vonswanko, love the lowers, can you tell me what years lower you used, and what was needed as far as mods to make them work on stock dyna engine guards

I'm thinking about putting the hard lowers on my Fat Bob as well. I have rode all the touring bikes and rented a Road Glide. The only things that was nice was the fairings, seat, and the radio. Everything thing else I hated. Especially the position of the floor boards. I will just continue to tour on my paid off Fat Bob

Irony, I have a fat bob and am in the process of doing this mod but also added the speaker pods and a set of polk db651 speakers and rockford amp. Also I use a floorboard setup from a switchback. Hopefully finish mockup tomorrow

Your on the right path. The Dyna can be most comfortable, just keep it in mind you want to do long miles. it really is almost endless what you can do to help the looks and comfort. I it is a good plat form for a cruiser/touring bike.
Keep us updated.

I have them on my switchback, used the non vented lowers off of a 95 ultra
trimmed about 1/4" or so off of each side to make them work
on and off in 10 minutes

Thanks! I used the later model vented copy's available on Ebay for $100. I had to trim some off of the bottoms to clear the highway peg mounts, but none off of the tops.
