Hooking up much better or can't really tell yet w/ the 200? What brand you go with?

Wow that's sucks someone ran into your bag! Could have been MUCH worse man. At least you have a quality paint, right hand, paint guy. How's the other guy when you saw it happen, ha?

Metzeler 880 its a V rated tire grabs and hold the road better than the 180 did.it was a guy that rides with us once in a while.paint and materials $250.00 not including any labor. waiting to see if he will make a offer to pay for the repairs.also painted trim pieces on the battery box same color as bike while I had extra paint.

Good to hear the 200 is working out for yah. If he's a stand up guy he'll offer some cash, especially since it was his fault. Good luck with that one.

As far as I know the 103 heads are the same as the 96ers except that the they are machined for automatic compression releases. I suspect that you'd be better off with the stock heads.. Maybe add manual compression releases. You really need to figure out whether you plan to go with a 103 or 107.. With flattop pistons the 107 compression will be too high for 48s as it will be about 10.5 to 1. You's be better off with a later intake close like a 54.. Nothing wrong with the 96 ci valve springs they are the same as the 103s.

I think you meant later intake close like a 45 degrees not 54 degrees??

Sorry for not being clear.. I was saying Andrews 54 cam which has a 42 degree intake close.. A little aggressive on the CCP for a 107 but yields a nice flat power band.. Setting the CR to 10.2 to 10.5 (aggressive side) on a 107 is pretty easy... A typical 103 with stock chambers can yield about 9.9 to 10.1 to 1 CR. Assuming 84 to 86 cc chambers.

Use the stock heads and have a stage 4 head work done.
You can save some $$$ to have the stage 4 head work done.
Big difference between the stage 3 and stage 4 head work.
I wouldn't consider anything below a stage 3.
The heads and cams is the heart of any good build.

Just Curious... What is Stage 4 work other than it probably costs more than stage 3?
