Default extended cables for larger bars

is there some chart or easy way to find out how long I need the cables for extended bars I am installing 12 inch MX T bars but I am removing 16 inch regular t bars I know I need to shorten my cables up I just want to know how long of cable I need to purchase

I need the length for the throttle idle cables brake line and clutch cables

Any help woulf be appreciated

Easiest way I know of is to measure the cables that you have and order ones that are 4" shorter. Even if there was a chart it can't account for differences in how cables are routed, angle of the bars, etc.

Looks like thats what I'llhave to do. I just wanted to purchase the cables and everythi g i needed before removing anything that way once i start taking the old bars apart i have everything to put the new bars on

I would mock up my new bars exactly how i want them, then take a piece of wire or string and run it from each originating point (transmission, brake, etc..) to the clutch/brake levers, etc.. on the new bars. Then, measure the piece of string/wire, and you have your cable length.
