Swing arm pivot nut cap

Yesterday I noticed that the large nut that secures the swing arm pivot pin is exposed. Is there supposed to be a chrome cap on each end of the pivot pin?

Just on the right side. Pretty sure there's not one on the left except for international models. Part #68222-06
