I've heard that Harley has any factory color available in spray cans, including clear coat. Does anyone have any experience with it?

I need to spray my small FXDXT replica fairing Vivid Gloss Black to match my tins and it would simplify things if I prep it and spray it myself. I could also buy a pint to try my Campbell Hausfield HVLP spray gun that I used a few years ago to spray the doors in my house. Any suggestions?

 

You can go to any automotive paint store and get your paint code in a basecoat put in an aerosol can. SEM used to make a color match clear that works good but believe it isn't made anymore.

If you want a great clear coat in a rattle can order some spraymax 2K gloss clear coat. Its actually a 2 part clear in a can. There is a button on the bottom which punctures an internal canister. Works great, did my whole bike with it.
