I have a question for the OP. If you didn't have the lowers on the engine guard (they look good, I'm just wondering for myself). Could you put your feet on the lower section of the engine guard when on the highway? I'm thinking of a engine guard for my Dyna but would lose the mounts for my highway pegs. I'm not really a fan of engine guard pegs so I'd be trading one for the other.

Yes. I put my heels on the crash bar/inside the lowers.
I'm 6'4 with longer legs abd my heels plant just fine on the lower crash bar

Thank you very much. I'm looking at a Dyna engine guard on CL. Once I verify it'll fit my 02 I may go get it.
