I searched for a video or written pointers on a handlebar change and extended wiring on a 2003 SG and found none. I was looking for wiring loop info and if like my 2004 Softail there was a point where the slack to loosen the wiring was secured in the battery area with a tie. I cut the tie holding the rubber plug that filled the hole on the right side of the back bone. I pulled the wires by group and after a bit the loop came out. The bar change was easy and I spread wire pulling grease on the outsides of the loop and pushed it back in. The only thing to mention is the extension wiring from Burley had flat blade male connections mating with the round socket on the turn signal wiring only. It offered a loose fit. so I cut/stripped/soldered and heat shrinked them.
