blown fork seal help
I have a 2012 fat bob and I was out for a ride today and hit a expansion joint pretty hard. When I got home I was looking over the bike like I normally do and noticed oil all over the frame down tube, engine, my left pant leg, ect. The left fork tube had a good amount of oil on it so I'm figuring I blew a fork seal. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good suspension specialists in the Chicago area to take it to. I have issues with the stealerships around me, they don't know what they are doing. Since it has to come apart I was thinking of upgrading the springs and oil and possibly some emulators. Is working on the forks an easy thing? Or does it require special tools? Should I try tackling this myself? Thanks.
