Angry Fork seals

I rebuilt a set of 49mm forks and somehow screwed up the one seal. It's not a gusher, but it weeps a bit more than i would like, Checked for dirt and tube scratches and found nothing. Is there any way to just remove the leg and hook the seal out without an oil bath, or do I have to do a total disassembly? 2013 fxdwg if that matters.

I’m guessing you’ll do more damage trying to get the seal out without using the fork and fork slider as a slide hammer to get it out. The tolerances are pretty tight and you’d most likely only be able to use small pick tools to try and grab the seal, probably tearing it. Then again, I’ve never tried doing without a full disassembly.
