Default fork leaking

got my front end back together after powder coating the lowers and insalling chrome fork tubes all is fine except for my left fork is leaking a little more fluid than it should i know a little weepage is alright but this seems a little excessive any ideas

When you filled with oil, were the tubes compressed completely during measurement? Maybe overfilled?

measured the exact same amount of fluid for both sides also my left side fork was a little off from right side in clamp (measurement from tube cap to top of triple tree) got them both the same would 3/16 matter though

Did you put new seals in? Easy to nick seals if you don't put tape on some of the parts as you slide the fork tubes in.

If you did change thd seals, that would be my vote. The seal must be pressed in squarely. If it goes in cocked at all they can leak. The best way to install the seal is with a 2" pvc pipe unless you ownn or have access to the HD tool. Is far a.s the tubes go they should both be at the same height. As far as fluid goes my 07 is not filled by ounces but by measuring the height of it as per the manual. I would probably verify that you have the correct amount of fluid and if so the seal is no good. Good luck and let us know what you find.

put new seals in w/the pvc filled fork oil as specified in manual one way or another ill get it squared away thanks for the input
