Default LOW RIDER S FXDLS License and Turn Signals

Hey guys. I want to eliminate my side license plate and relocate my turn signals so that I can run bags. Can you show me what you did on your bike? I saw some nice setups in the FXDLS thread and now I can't find them. That thread has gotten so big that it would take forever to find the particular posts. The search function isn't helping me.

Great bike Gear makes a kit that moves the plate and the lights. Install is not hard, just takes time.

Thanks Kashel. I recognize the easy brackets because I ran them on a Vulcan back in the day. It looks like you have spacers in there to run a detachable sissy bar also. Is that correct? And what seat is that?

I just did that mod to my Wide Glide. Not a bad job at all.

nice. the lack of bags is one of the things which put me off of the Low Rider S, and that kit tidies things up nicely...

I just got the regular kit, i am not sure if it will take a detachable sissy bar or not. the seat is a Danny Gray weekday 2up. It is nice for the driver but the passenger seat is very narrow, i would go for the weekday 2up XL if i had it to do again.

The GBG kit is really nice and relatively simple. Here is a link to my installation if interested. Also should you choose bags from LeatherPro their attachments are incredibly simple and accommodate detachable sissy bars.

Good luck!
