I ordered a set of Viking bags for my 05 Wide Glide.
When I bought the bike, it had a swing-arm mounted license plate bracket and the oem read bracket was cut off. As you probably are aware, the swing-arm bracket will be in the way of my left bag. I've searched high and low for the OEM bracket part # 59575-02 without luck. They tell me it obsolete. Any ideas?

 

Dam.....I just threw one of these away, try ebay.

The 05 is rather tough to find parts for, only the 04-05 fender widths match up on the WG.
I made my own bracket for this a while back.
Do you still have the taillight in the original location? They just cut off the license part?

 

Correct, they cut the license plate part off. The tail light is still in orig location

 

I'll bet you could easily fabricate a small piece to bolt the plate and taillight mounts together. A piece of sheet metal would work.

 

Im going to take a ride to JP Cycles tomorrow and see if I can find something that I can make work
