I want a set of these for some bars that I just got. I'm looking at the clamp online. It appears as though there is a bottom clamp welding the two risers together. Can someone tell me if there is a hole that will allow for internally wired bars to fall down between the two risers?
What tracker bar you using? I went with a deal I got on Todd Cycles Moto bars...only gripe, they are 1inch and not 1.25inch diameter.
I'm running Biltwell's Trackers. I got the dimpled ones cause I ran them like stock bars with the wiring on the outside. I finally got around to drilling and internally wiring them. Like I said it was a pain but it cleans up the front end a bit more than having one big loom come from the middle of the risers. If you get a set of the Murdock risers just watch it when you tighten the riser clamp bolts. I snapped the head off of a couple of them. I'm sure it was my fault over torqueing them and having too much Loctite. Other than that I really like them great set of risers no flex and bolted right up.
I put the Thunder with my apes and I get more comments on the workmanship. Their also stainless which makes them really stout. Def buy from them again.
