As most will say on here. Take the parts off (if you have the originals) and sell them individually. Trade in will only be $5240 with or without, unless your trading way up. Or try to sell the bike to some individual who would appreciate what you added to it.

Bingo... your parts aren't worth anything during a trade in. Especially on a 11 year old bike. Your going to get the least on a trade in.

if you are patient...I would recommend just selling privately.

Like the others say, it's an 11 year old bike with 30,000 miles on it. That's all the dealer's interested in.

I think it's bullshit that accessories aren't worth anything, I can understand if you have skull covers on everything, but when it's an accessory that's highly desired, or increases comfort or visibility, it should count. Unfortunately it does not. I traded in my street bob and stripped it to stock, then sold all the accessories at 50% of what they cost new. That's what I would suggest for you. Or see what will fit your new bike. You're gonna get ****ed either way. You're gonna get ****ed anytime you trade a bike in. I got 8,000 for my 15 Fxdb with 16,000 miles, and whatched the dealers website til they posted it, they listed it at 14,295 ****in dollars!!!!! **** the dealers all they do is **** you. Sell it on Craigslist man trust me.

Accessories are only valuable IF you're the DEALER selling the bike to a customer. They are worth NOTHING if you're the customer TRADING IN to the DEALER. Truthfully, I've learned that if you're happy with your bike (like sticking all that $$$ into extras) why not just keep it? That's a sweet looking Street Bob! Why do you want to trade?

30,000 miles is nothing. You can ride that bike until you can't ride anymore, then give it to your grandkid. I know the feeling of wanting a "new" bike every few years, but after owning over 45 bikes since 1968, I can tell you there are a lot of bikes I wish I'd just kept, and could kick myself for trading. New bikes are NOT always BETTER bikes.

I agree with hd4evr2008 you customized to your liking and it looks great. Why buy a new one, but if you do decide to buy new. Hold off and sell yours privately I'm sure you'll get close to double what the trade will give you.

Best of luck which ever way you decide to go.

Nice bike I'd say it's worth $5,240 on trade, dealer will probably offer less tho

No one but you cares about the accessories or extra parts.
