Default Low Rider S license plate relocate and t bars

just flipped my street Glide in for LRS. First off, I hate the license bracket location and want to move it. Second off, I want to put a set of club style t bars on, but not sure what size and what cables, wires and extensions need to be made. The dealer is quoting me $800 for an install, but it seems straightforward enough to do unlike mini apes on a bagger. Anyone want to give their input on these issues?

If you don't want to do the long fender conversion, Id go with a lay down plate and Alloy Art strut mounted LEDs. They're super bright and easy to install. For the bars, you won't be needing wire extensions. There is PLENTY of wiring in the frame of the bike. I went with lines from Magnum Shielding and Lucky Daves 14" bars.

You can see the wiring here:

This is the plate/signal setup I got from great bike gear for about 160. Easy as pie to install, and the t bars are easy too. Depending on how high you go, you shouldn't have to extend your wiring, and might be able to get away with the stock brake line and clutch cable.

I went with the great bike gear kit too , modified it a bit, so I could tuck an led tail light up under the fender. I cut the tab off for the plate illumination lamp , which is an optional / add on part from Great bike gear. Our plates are huge , there was no room for the plate illumination lamp , the l.e.d. strip more than lights up the plate , it's a brake light too. Those are available from Drag specialties or J.P. cycle.

I like that. I'll be adding an LED strip at some point. Yea I just used the factory plate lamp. There's two t15 torx screws and it slides out of the plate assembly.

Canuck bikes have the hideous rear mounted plastic licence plate / tail lamp arrangement , It was gone within the first couple of days .

We don't get side mount plates anymore , not legal here on new vehicles , I don't care for side mount plates anyways.

I also went with the great bike gear relocation.
Mine came with the custom dynamics license plate frame with leds. Love this setup until
I go full fender.
