The only difference I notice is the skinny 21 wants to catch those little grooves in some of the roads around here. It tends to "walk" a little sometimes.
The 100 90 19" FXDB tire really followed the groves.
I will agree with the wheel following the grooves a bit more, but it's not all that bad. Still trying to decide on the wide glide forks, a lot of work for just a look. Need to research more and convince myself of more positives
I've found that the tread pattern made a big difference. Any tire with grooves that run around the circumference, like a Dunlop that was widely used about 10 years back, will follow the cracks like it was on rails... I'm thinking it was something like "F28" but really don't remember.

I am running a Michelin Commander ll 80/90x21" with diagonal grooves from each side . I guess what I like about the wide glide front is the wider stance. Not sure if it makes for better handling more research needed. I don't know, narrow better turning, tighter, wide more stable, comfortable? I want to add a tach that will be the next thing
