Default 21 inch wheel

i am thinking about going to a 21inch wheel from a 19 front. Is there any difference in handling and is there any modification needed

I re-laced my '07 Street Bob front hub from the original 19" wheel onto a 21" rim. Some people don't like the handling of the skinny front tire (90/90-21) but I've been completely happy with it. After I put a fat front end on my Street Bob, I installed the 21" wheel on my Superglide. Still liking it.

Check the availability of rims in 21 inch for your year and model of bike. If you have a mid-glide you may have to go to the skinny wheel as the tubes may not be wide enough for the hub and rotor. In that case you will need hub and rotor spacers. If you are going to lace your own that's a different story though.

Good information Jay, I haven't thought about looking into rim size for mid glides?
I have been pricing them, so now I have gotta make sure the stock thunderstar 19 will fit properly? The spacers I've looked into are for the 21 inch front wheel....

But more bars and wider front end bike will be done
