Default Low Rider S riser

So I've done a search and I'm sure the information is available if I just KEEP looking, but it is buried for sure!

So would anyone know if I can get a riser that will add maybe an inch or two over stock without changing any cables or the brake line?

I've been looking at the LA Chopper Hefty 6" risers (PN:0602-0510) that fit the 1 1/14 bar that apparently the FXDLS has!

Any input or recommendations?

As far as IF you can, yes. However I'm not familiar with any risers off hand other then drag specialties or LAC. I just used 2.5 inch spacers in my risers on my lrs since I'm putting my 16s on soon anyway.

Have a look at the DK customs 2 inch riser spacers, from all reports works with stock LRS brake/clutch lines, 3 inch is a stretch but 2 inch works fine.

Thanks

Also PM'd another guy on here that has the DK 3 inches and he said it was a stretch but did work. One of the local San Diego shops don't think even 2 would work, so once I have this done I may swing by and show them!!

So I looked at the spacers and was initially going to go with that. But seeing as I don't need to bring the bars up very much at all (maybe an inch?), and the replacing the risers gives me a single solid piece, I went with these: http://www.lachoppers.com/catalog/di...194/index.html

I also like that it will be obvious that they aren't stock. At least to me! My local shop said they will throw them on for 40 bucks so I'll probably have them do it for convenience. I could do it myself, but the USS Pinckney is currently doing work ups to prepare for a deployment so I'm not home a lot. Not trying to spend what time I AM home working on my car or bike too much. Heck, I'm even PAYING to have basic brake work done on my Turbo Buick!!

I'll do the work on the Buick if you let me stomp around with it for a couple days....I never got to play with an intercooled T before....mine was a hot air.

Haha! It's got a pretty big turbo, SLIC that is twice as large as stock, 60# fuel injectors, how wired fuel pump, ADJ FPR, beefed up transmission, HR parts rear sway bar, spohn double adjustable control arms and I'm SURE I'm forgetting some stuff!

I'm having a local mechanic replace a brake line and hunt down a damn vacuum leak. Just not wanting to spend the time on it right now.

That's right I remember now! Yeah they are. That's why I'm just gonna pay the local mechanic to find it! Lol

I did the DK customs 2 inch fat handlebar riser extensions on my LRS. Took about 10 mins. Super easy and no messing with lines. Much more comfortable riding position.

I've got the 3 in on mine and they work. Clutch cable is maxed.
