Cooling a WG

Oil cooler is mounted on the frame..., connected to each other via the top ends - but capped off at the bottom ends..., and devoid of any oil
Introducing the oil cooler will happen after testing the reusable oil filter's cooling affect (next step (2)..., then oil cooler will be step 3)

Very Welcome Sir - oil changed..., should complete step 2 tomorrow
===========
Baseline oil temp
Reusable oil filter installed
Oil cooler still disconnected (purposely left the oil drip on the floor in the last two pics for reference)

Guy is super easy to work with
I called to verify it would fit w/ the V&H 2-2 - he didn't know - but told me I could send it back if it didn't
Asked him if there any concerns (accuracy / longevity wise) with it being so close to the exhaust (~ 2" separation from the back side of the exhaust) - He said no
I tested it against the cooking thermometer mentioned earlier in this thread - it tracked up to 200 - so I'm assuming it correct beyond that
Takes less than a beer to install (remove original dip stick..., 1 bolt...., pull the original housing out..., put the new housing in.., replace the 1 bolt..., insert the new dip stick..., twist down the thumb screw to secure it - good to go)
Only question - is it rugged enough to survive the vibration and heat.., and remain accurate - time will tell
I too prefer analog gauges
