Default Upgrading looking for most power

So i've been searching around trying to find a used thunderheader for my TC88 but cant seem to find one in the 2 months ive been looking and with spring here im getting ready to bite the bullet and buy a new one

Question I have is, has anyone done any dyno shootouts on performance pipes for the TC88 I am looking for best performing pipe and am not biased on any brand just like the look of the 2 into 1

Had a V&H Big Radius 2-1; was crap on the dyno. Now have an RB racing Black Hole; very expensive, long wait and most don't like the looks but is quieter and did well on dyno

Call Fuel Moto and ask what they recommend. They do a LOT of dyno tuning and a huge library of data.

Are you only looking for a pipe?
Or, a complete mod package?
Or, have you already done the "pistons/heads/lower end" stuff?

Air in-air out.
Don't do just the Thunderheader, do carb and air cleaner and a re tune (or at least a re-jet) too.
I've done several dyno shootouts with that pipe and the Thunderheader will get the job done at your CI level, but you have to let it breathe on the intake side.
If you do find a used one, make sure it's set up for the peg set up you have-mids or forwards.

Michael Beland look him up on FB. He's a TC expert and owns a dyno he knows every way to make them produce power. He knows his stuff and has dyno results for almost every different combination He's also a top fuel racer so he knows about fast. But If you want to go fast buy a Suzuki, Harleys are for old folks tired of going fast. LOL yeah I said it
