Default Help decide on cams - please

what's up guys , I have a 2017 street bob ; stage 1 with a screaming eagle intake and VH short shots , tuned with an fp3. I need more power haha . I am hoping off a ninja 636 , so I do miss the top end of a sport bike .

So so long story short , I am looking for cams but at the same time I am already focusing on stage 3 . What are some good cams that can help me when I move forward with stage 3? I hear some good stories on woods 777's?

By the way , I just hit 1,000 miles on my bike and I love it!! Best bike I have owned , honestly!

What's your final goal? Bumping compression? Ported heads? Bigger pistons? All of the above?

Don't compromise on cams that might suit you now and that might suit with later mods. It never works well and costs more. Save up and do it all at once

This is exactly what I'm trying to avoid haha.

it seems like I just need to save up for stage 3 all together ? What kind of numbers are you guys putting down with that kit ?

Cycle Rama 575 with a 4° advance. It'll give a few lb/ft more torque right off the bottom than a 57H (also with a 4° advance) with only a couple of hp lost on top. When you do your heads and bump the compression, lose the advance. You'll still have more bottom end and will still be within a couple of hp of the 57H. Plus, you'll have more torque "under the curve" with the 575, assuming a proper tune.

warranty warning: blah blah blah....

now that's out of the way if you are doing more than cams, this fisher price setup worked out well for me.

https://www.sscycle.com/products/110...wrinkle-black/ got mine for $2K

annnd you could just trade your 17 on an 18 street bob 114. i know i wasn't supposed to say that but, it's true. all the work you are thinking about doing and maybe power lust... are stock there. go test ride before you open your wallet. i'm saying this because after all the work time and $ i spent working on
my dyna, the fat bob 114 had it all stock ... even the oil cooler... just saying
