As an update to my post.

Just took the bike in today for the 1K service and a SERT/Dyno tune. Tech says all the noises are "normal". $900 later my bike has a fresh change of oiland runs like it should from the factory. 1/2 of HD taxes paid (no pipes or a/c yet).

If the knocking gets louder I'll just bring it back in as I've got 1 year and 10 months left on the warranty. No worries.

Could we see the Dyno results on this? Just wondered what kind of HP and TQ it made.

Before:
Max HP =66.61
Max TQ = 80.78
AF ratio at WOT =13.5 to 14.40 averaging around 14.0

After:
Max HP = 69.15 (gain of 2.54)
Max TQ = 84.20 (gain of 3.42)
AF ratio at WOT =12.8 to 13.8 averaging around 13.1

This is all on a stock engine. I was only looking to get the bike to run better and cooler. It does both.

Get the oil pumping with the rpm up. And you will see better gas mile. Lug and engine knock will go a way. blow that engine and let run.

I agree an '07 loves to run, these new engines don't like to be babied, they hate constant throttle and light loads, crank it!
