Default 2013 Street Bob - A few questions

Hi all,

I'm the new proud owner of a 2013 Street Bob; the bike is set up to look like a Dyna S (wheels, fairings, badges, etc), with a few exceptions.

I'd like to swap the exhaust out. It currently has a Bassani Road Rage exhaust, but it's too loud for me. I'd like to go to stock (seems like that's the quietest option), but want to keep the Dyna S look. Dyna S stock exhausts are pricey on ebay.. Are there any other models that I could pull a similar style exhaust from (even if I have to paint it)?

Thank you!!

Best,
Nate

Maybe a standard lowrider?

FWIW, you can EASILY sell the road rage in the classified section to cover the cost of the stock lowrider S exhaust.... You will most likely make money on the deal.

Thunder Torque Inserts™ will deepen the tone of your exhaust a bit, seeming not so loud to the human ear.

You'll also get a power increase with them, with gains in low and mid range torque.

Here's a LINK to the TTIs.

If you really want to go stock, your best bet would be a stock exhaust from a 2014-2017 FXDL, and painting that black if you want to go that route. If you are willing to spend the coin on something aftermarket I'd recommend a Supertrapp Supermeg. Quiet with the full baffle and closed end cap but still a nice sound, and they come in black...should be able to find one reasonably priced and sell the bassani to recoup some of the cost...

I haven’t looked at what they’re going for on eBay, but if you want an unused FXDLS exhaust I’ve got one collecting dust in the basement. DM me an offer and I’m sure we can figure it out. Catch is shipping is likely a pain on an exhaust sized box

Thanks for all the help, guys - if I can't find a reasonable FXDLS pipe, I'll go w a supertrapp or stock low rider.

dn.bnntt - I can't seem to DM yet.. could you send me an email? ndbarr@bu.edu

I've got the stock pipes off my '13 Street Bob I'd sell for a reasonable price. I'm never gonna do anything with them.
