Replacing grips ... suggestions?
I am currently running the PM Contour grips on my '17 FXDLS and experience numbness in my thumb and index finger of my throttle hand after about an hour of riding. Although I love the look of the grips, the kevlar grip surface isn't very comfortable and I believe their design also promotes additional vibrations.
Any thoughts or suggestions.
Thanks.

The HD contoured and rubber grips might help you or if you like the shape of your grips, sporting stores make padded sleeves that fit over tennis racket grips that might help also.
My numbness went away when I got away from the huge *** grips most companies sell for Harley's. I went with thinner arlen Ness fusions and never looked back. IDK if you ride with gloves but I know for me these are excellent and don't require much grip pressure at all.
I searched and experimented for a long time and finally,
My pain went away when I realized it had nothing to do with the grip brand or style.
The whole time it was my grip on the throttle causing the problem. So I found a different way.

What works best for me is the palm styled,, Once proper position is found I can still handle the throttle in traffic situations as always. But on longer runs there isn't the need to "grip".
I opted for Kuryakyn knock-off brands that support that kind of solid mount "throttle boss".
