2005 fxdi super glide. Replaced the fuel filter, plugs and battery. Got it back together and now it is not starting. No fire to the plugs at all. Can you reset the ecm maybe? It did give a p1003 code before it took it apart. Don’t know what els to try.
Really need to get this bike running. Thanks.

Can you check your to see if your ignition coil has power, ground and a signal to fire?

Does the engine turn over? Can you set the silent alarm using the center of the key FOB. Try a couple of cycles of turning on the alarm , turning off the alarm, my 05 FXDLI did that to me once.

Engine turns over. Not seeing a spark to plug when I pulled one and grounded it. How would I check the coil for a signal? I can handle most of the mechanicle stuff but not so much the electrical. Again I thank you for any help..

You won't see a spark by removing the plug and grounding it. The ECM won't provide spark if there is no compression. You'll need an inline spark tester.

Remove one plug, put a 10-ga. shotgun shell in the hole (brass side out) and whack it with a hammer while it's turning over.

Have an in-line and am still seeing no spark. Checked the coil, I think. Get about 5k resistance between poles on the plug side. Get no resistance between any of the 4 posts on the other side. Not sure what that means.
