So I got my first Dyna a few years ago it's a 02 fxdl it has 49 mm swapped on to it with Progressive internals it's from a 2013 street Bob. My buddies say to ditch it and get a nice 39mm setup. Whoever did the swap didn't do it correctly because the trees hit my gas tank and there's indents on both sides. It feels extremely stable but it feels like I'm turning a boat. Any feedback is appreciated

 

 

Can you take a good pic(s) showing the complete Top Tree and then maybe at full lock showing the Tree/Tube against the Tank?

 

Ayup. My 08 DWG/DF front end (on a 99 DWG chassis) hit the tank too. I moved the tank back to compensate but some guys alter the steering stops.
