Dyna forward mid control question
I had the floor board set up removed off of my 2011 Super Glide Custom and went back to mid controls. The ones I bought are the forward mid controls in black same as the ones that are the newer Low Riders. I was looking up rear brake arms to see if there are nicer ones that had a different pedal on them. I found PM which are boring. I found Hammerhead levers priced at $299 which is a bit more than I wanted to pay. And then I saw a link to Lucky Levers and found him on instagram. He takes stock brake arms. Powder coats them to whatever color you want. Grinds off the stock pedal and attaches from what I saw 4 different types of pedals. All look good.
From what I read the Low Rider comes with the forward mids. Is the brake arm on the forward mids 2 inches longer than the ones on regular mids? Or is it the same length but the bracket its mounted to push it forward two inches? This way I will know what to tell him I have and will also know whether the brake arm is 2 inches longer or the bracket just pushes it 2 inches forward.
