Default Have service manual but need help with torque specs PLEASE help!

I am replacing front and rear brake lines on my '08 Fat Bob. My service manual shows torque specs of 21-25 ft lbs (28.5-33.9 inch pounds) on the front and rear Banjo Bolts, can anyone confirm these are correct? Seems pretty loose to me but I am a noob so...do they need blue loctite on them? I would think that these do NOT get loctite but I cannot find anything in my service manual about it. Also, there is a bolt that holds the splitter for the two front brake lines under the steering neck...can't find any info on that one either as far as torque or loctite...

TIA everyone...

That conversion is not right. 21 ft. lbs. does not equal 28 inch lbs. If you multiply ft. lbs. times 12 you will have the spec in inch lbs.

Thanks man, I think I will go to 20 ft lbs and call that good...just feels like a part that I wanna wrench down (I know not to, but it's one you don't want to lose so...). What about using Blue thread locker? Again common sense says no here but the urge to make sure these stay in place makes me want to put it on them. I'm sure this is in the manual I have, I just can't find it...the torque spec list doesn't even mention the caliper bolt torque...

Sorry everyone, that's my noob brain numbers...that should be Nm not inch pounds, I didn't pay that much attention to that part as I was looking at the FT LBS part...

I would not use locktight on a banjo bolt
