Hey everyone! I'm looking for crash bars for my wide glide but haven't had much luck finding any. I only can find them for 2006+ models. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you! Ride Safe.

 

I have a Lindby crash bar on my 03,,, fits with the forward controls.. Not sure if that will work with your 05 though

 

Yeah thought about those but don't think they'll fit.

I think as long as you get the kind that work with forward controls, it shouldn't matter, since they only have 1 bolt at the top middle, and then bolt around the frame with U bolts near the forward control mount point. That's what I have on my '13 SuperGlide, and the crash bar came from an '05, I think. Here's how mine looks:



I'm also considering selling mine. I still have my mid-pegs for foot position change, and with forwards that have stirrups, they're practically like floorboards, so don't need the highway pegs on the crash bar.
